Colours that Inspire Me - part 1

August arrives bringing with it the more serene colour palette of fields that have done their growing and are now ripe and ready for harvesting, long grasses bowed with dusty seeds and low evening sunshine picking out the golds, greens and browns as lazy waves wash the shoreline. Blackberries are beginning to show in the hedgerows and the first early Hawthorn berries can be spotted red, here and there.
The cliffs in the distance start to shrug on their cloaks of purple heather, framed by the skeletal Cow Parsley seed heads that still stand tall and stiff along the Cornish hedges.
